Our client, a growing P&C insurance company, is seeking a Commercial Lines Product Specialist to join their team in Bedford, NH. This role will lead the creation, development, and management of their commercial lines’ insurance products with a strong focus on the New Hampshire market.

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Product Specialist to lead the creation, development, and management of our commercial lines insurance products, with a strong focus on the New Hampshire market. This will be a hybrid position with office days at HQ in Bedford, NH. 
Position Overview
This is a key role responsible for building and launching new commercial lines products from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the New Hampshire regulatory landscape and commercial insurance market. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to design products that are competitive, compliant, and tailored to local business needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and launch new commercial lines insurance products, including BOP (Business Owner’s Policy),
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for New Hampshire commercial insurance products, ensuring all offerings align with state-specific requirements.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and regulatory review to guide product strategy and design.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, compliance, and IT teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Oversee state filings and ensure compliance with the New Hampshire Insurance Department (NHID) regulations.
  • Monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements based on data and feedback.
  • Support the rollout of new products through training, marketing coordination, and internal communications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance product development or underwriting.
  • Direct experience with New Hampshire commercial insurance products and regulatory requirements is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO forms, product filing processes (e.g., SERFF), and local market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive initiatives from concept to market.
