Our client, a large law firm in New England, is looking for an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join their team in Portland, Maine. You'll help lawyers with immigration cases, manage paperwork, and keep clients updated.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist attorneys with immigration cases from start to finish.
  • Prepare and file visa applications and petitions for different types of work and family-based immigration cases.
  • Keep track of deadlines, case progress, and client information.
  • Organize documents and do legal research.
  • Work with other legal assistants and paralegals.

What You Need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or law-related coursework.
  • 2+ years of experience as an immigration paralegal, especially in business immigration.
  • Strong writing, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using immigration software like Docketwise, LawLogix, or eIMMIGRATION.
