Position Summary
As a member of the HR team, the Talent and HR Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience from start to finish. Focusing on recruitment, onboarding, and training, this role ensures a smooth and positive journey for candidates, new hires, and employees. The Talent and HR Specialist will partner with hiring managers to develop and enhance effective sourcing strategies. Additionally, they will support training programs and contribute to various HR initiatives, making a meaningful impact on the organization’s success.
Position Details – what will this role do?
Support the full recruitment lifecycle: Create compelling job postings, source, and screen top talent, conduct initial interviews, assess candidate fit, and prepare candidates for interviews with hiring teams. Collaborate with hiring managers to meet staffing needs and ensure seamless onboarding experiences.
Foster strong relationships with recruiting vendors: Collaborate with job boards, social media platforms, staffing agencies, and other vendors to source high-quality candidates and stay ahead of recruiting trends.
Deliver an exceptional candidate and onboarding experience: Manage timely follow-ups, interview logistics, and inquiries while coordinating onboarding tasks to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Lead new hire orientation: Conduct engaging sessions that introduce new employees to the company culture and ensure a positive and memorable onboarding experience.
Develop and implement employee training programs: Create engaging training materials, track compliance with schedules, and ensure programs support employee growth and success.

Qualifications and Experience
• Required: 1- 2 years of HR, recruiting, or staffing experience (or equivalent experience managing complex logistics in professional settings)
• Exceptional communication (spoken and written) skills across levels (internal and external) and display of a high degree of discretion, professionalism, and diplomacy
• Ability to learn and use multiple recruiting technology tools, i.e., reporting/BI tools, social media, networking sites, etc.
• Microsoft Suite proficiency (especially in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Preferred
• Experience managing start-to-finish recruiting
• Previous experience with recruiting technology tools
• Experience using ADP

Education Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) preferred
