As they continue to expand, they’re looking for a Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) to guide clients in aligning technology with their business goals.
About The Job
As a vCIO, you’ll act as a trusted IT advisor, working directly with business leaders to assess their current technology, identify opportunities for improvement, and create strategic roadmaps. Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients to understand their business goals and ensure their technology supports them.
- Assess IT systems to uncover inefficiencies, security risks, and areas for growth.
- Develop and present IT roadmaps, advising on infrastructure upgrades, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and digital transformation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clients receive seamless IT support and proactive technology management.
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies and trends, offering innovative solutions that drive business success.
- Help clients plan and budget for IT investments, ensuring scalable, cost-effective solutions.
- Support compliance efforts, helping clients meet industry regulations and cybersecurity best practices.
- Build long-term client relationships, acting as their go-to IT expert and advocate.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT leadership, technology consulting, or as a vCIO within an MSP or similar environment.
- Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and business applications.
- Ability to bridge the gap between technology and business strategy, focusing on ROI and efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a way that makes sense to business leaders.
- A client-first mindset, with a passion for helping businesses use technology to their advantage.
- Certifications preferred: ITIL, CISSP, PMP, or vendor-specific certifications (Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, etc.).
