Job Title: IT Application Support Specialist (Behavioral Health Systems)
Location: Remote

About the Role:
An experienced IT professional is needed to support critical Behavioral Health applications. This fully remote role requires expertise in Electronic Health Records (EHR) software, troubleshooting, system maintenance, and vendor coordination. If you have a strong background in IT application support and a passion for improving healthcare technology, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application & End-User Support: Provide technical assistance and maintenance for key IT applications, including myAvatar, Order Connect, Bells AI, myHealth Pointe, and others.

  • Service Desk Management: Monitor and resolve tickets through the state ServiceNow system, ensuring timely responses and documentation.

  • Issue Resolution & Escalation: Troubleshoot technical issues, document findings, and escalate complex bugs to vendors for resolution.

  • User Training & Communication: Develop documentation and training on new features and enhancements.

  • System Configuration & Maintenance: Maintain dictionary values, update registry settings, and manage security configurations.

  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough system testing of application upgrades and enhancements, including after-hours testing once per month.

  • Collaboration & On-Call Support: Work closely with developers, agency personnel, and IT management to resolve system issues and participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of IT experience, including customer support.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with myAvatar EHR software.

  • Proven expertise in testing, troubleshooting, and refining software applications.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Experience using Service Management tools and vendor coordination.

  • Post-secondary education in a technology-related field is highly desirable.
