IT Application Support Specialist (Remote, Part-Time, Contract)

Are you an experienced IT professional looking for a flexible, remote role where you can apply your expertise in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems? Our client is seeking an IT Application Support Specialist to provide technical support, system maintenance, and vendor coordination for myAvatar and other integrated applications.

Responsibilities:

• Provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues, and manage tickets through ServiceNow.
• Maintain system configurations, security settings, and registry updates to ensure smooth operations.
• Work closely with vendors and IT teams to resolve technical issues and improve system functionality.
• Conduct testing for application upgrades and enhancements, including scheduled after-hours testing once a month.
• Support key applications such as myAvatar, Bells AI, Netsmart Telehealth, CC Inbox, Care Quality, KPI, and other interfaced systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of IT support experience, with a strong troubleshooting background.
• 5+ years of experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with myAvatar software.
• Strong testing and quality assurance experience.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or other IT service management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with IT teams and vendors.
• Post-secondary education in Information Technology or a related field is a plus.
