Our client, one of Southern Maine’s leading concrete, asphalt, and aggregate producers, is seeking an Accountant to add to their team. If you are an accounting professional looking to make the next move in their career, this could be for you!
Essential Responsibilities
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial records
  • Oversee accounts payable and assist with A/R collections
  • Manage journal entries and general ledger functions
  • Support tax filings and financial reporting
  • Identify cost-saving and revenue-boosting opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing or construction experience preferred)
  • Experienced with (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) GAAP
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Experience with Keystone or similar accounting software is a plus
