We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our healthcare client in Biddeford for a 3 month assignment. This role will entail specimen collection and processing. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specimen Collection
  • Laboratory Processing
  • Quality Control and Compliance
  • Administrative Support

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Licenses/Certifications: BLS certification required
  • Skills:
    • Excellent phlebotomy skills and knowledge of laboratory procedures.
    • Strong communication 
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in using laboratory information systems and electronic medical records.
    • Basic computer skills and keyboarding proficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, great customer service skills and an interest/experience in phlebotomy.
Daytime hours, Monday-Friday. $19-23/hr, depending on experience.
