Systems Analyst
Location: Remote

Overview:
Our client is seeking a Systems Analyst with a strong background in gathering requirements, writing user stories, and conducting UAT testing. The ideal candidate will be skilled in communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical staff and have experience with the MS Power Platform. This role involves analyzing user requirements and operational procedures, identifying solutions, and collaborating with teams to automate processes and improve existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and analyze business objectives, operational procedures, and existing problems to provide alternative solutions.
  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis of alternatives and identify optimal approaches to meet business goals.
  • Collaborate with teams to gather and define user requirements, documenting program functions, and steps to develop or modify computer systems.
  • Review system capabilities, specifications, and limitations to determine feasibility within existing systems.
  • Provide technical support for applications and hardware issues, acting as a liaison for information sharing between external entities.
  • Determine requirements for the installation, operation, and maintenance of various office systems and equipment.
  • Create charts, diagrams, flowcharts, and other technical documentation to assist in process automation and system improvement.
  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of computer applications, including making recommendations for technology planning and system security.
  • Work independently with initiative and judgment to meet business needs, utilizing creativity to solve complex problems.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, user story creation, and UAT testing.
  • Proven ability to analyze and document user needs, current operational procedures, and identify optimal solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Proficiency with MS Power Platform.
  • Experience preparing technical documentation such as flowcharts, diagrams, and charts for system processes.
  • Familiarity with standard IT concepts, practices, and procedures, with some creativity and latitude for problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently, performing a variety of complex tasks while exercising initiative and judgment.
