Project Manager
Location: Remote
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and execute two significant initiatives within a large, multi-agency organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Equipment Modernization Project:
    • Manage the upgrade of existing equipment and oversee the implementation of new systems to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
    • Introduce new capabilities, such as 2D barcode functionality and improved processes to increase productivity.
  2. Asset Management System Implementation:
    • Lead the rollout of a comprehensive asset management system to improve resource tracking and operational oversight across departments.
As a Project Manager, you will handle a range of strategic initiatives, working closely with multiple departments. This role requires independent judgment, initiative, and leadership skills. You will guide cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and with high quality, utilizing project management methodologies such as Agile.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of project management experience or equivalent education/experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and understanding of SDLC methodologies.
  • Experience working in complex, multi-departmental organizations.
  • Strong ability to collaborate in both technical and business environments.
  • Proficiency with project management tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at once, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding practical solutions while managing details.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Prior experience managing vendors is an advantage.
