Downtown Portland professional services firm is looking for a contract to hire Compliance Analyst to join their team. This position prepares, analyzes and submits filings to various national and state agencies. This individual maintains, analyzes and reconciles assessment accruals for each state and reports premium, commission and assessment-related reconciliations. In this role, you are responsible for:
-monthly and quarter assessment payments and reconciliations
-review changes to state filing requirements
-prepares monthly data reports for the finance team
-works with large sets of data
-proactively prepares for filings

The ideal candidate will have:
-strong attention to detail
-3-5 years prior accounting or finance experience
-excellent research and analytical skills
-self motivation
-ability to work within deadlines and adjust to shifting priorities

This position is onsite, Monday-Friday, 8-5. Immediate need. $28-34/hr, depending on experience
