Position Overview:
They are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join their high-performing team known for its expertise and commitment to quality. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional looking to advance their career.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Civil Engineering Technician, you will be at the forefront of drafting and design, working primarily with AutoCAD Civil 3D to design roads, highways, commercial development sites, subdivisions, and more. Your role will include creating detailed surface models, templates, alignments, and profiles, as well as performing site grading and earthwork volume calculations. You will also contribute to document quality control, quantity take-offs, cost estimating, and field construction observation. This position offers the chance to work on a variety of projects and requires occasional travel to project sites.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Technical Expertise: 2+ years of hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, including drafting, dimensioning, annotation, surface creation, alignments, profiles, plan & profiles, cross sections, site grading, and earthwork volume calculations.
  • Design Experience: Proven experience in drafting and design for roads, highways, commercial development sites, and subdivisions.
  • Document Control: Experience in document quality control, quantity take-offs, and cost estimating.
  • Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Educational Background: An associate degree in a drafting or engineering-related field is preferred.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally as required by project needs.
